It’s a fair question… I have other blogs and websites, so it isn’t like I need another one, or “this one” in particular… so why Verbal Architect?
Back when email addresses were a new thing, Verbal Architect was one of my first email addresses. I picked it on a whim, because I’ve always loved telling stories, and playing with words.
When I sat down, with this vague notion of putting this site together, Verbal Architect resurfaced in my thoughts… and here we are.
But why another site?
My thinking was two fold, which oddly leads to three points:
- I wanted a place that would truly act like a journal… where I could put things that in days gone by I would have written in an actual journal, or pasted in to one.
- I tend to make my sites with a black background which isn’t conduce to printing what I’ve written easily and legibly.
- I wanted to see some of my photography on a light and bright background instead of a dark one.
The images on this page are duplicated from elsewhere in VerbalArchitect.art used here as much as placeholders as anything else.
As I sat down to write this page, I didn’t really view it as new, unique or special content, but really just thought there may come a time when I would want to remember what on Earth I was thinking, late one night, when this series of pages and posts started coming together.
